Current Research
My research focuses on how face-to-face interaction and identity structures serve to create, maintain, and change macro-level social structures. Also, a sizable amount of my work involves developing and/or refining methodological tools and techniques designed to increase the precision with which we are able to assess social concepts such as emotional response. Finally, my work typically involves multi-method research designs, with an emphasis on experimental methods.
